Oooo Tree Stuff

Memaw has lots of trees in her yard and those trees have lots of leaves! We don't have any of those in our yard. I had lots of fun playing in the leaves.

After I played with all the leaves we loaded up and went to see Ms. Lee. She lived next to mommy when mommy was a little girl. After we visited with her I got a big surprise at Memaw's house...more family had come over and we got to do Christmas again!

Country All the Way

I wore my little dress and matching boots today. Mommy said I am her little country girl!

After the zoo I was worn out! I didn't get carried hardly any so I had to walk! I took a good nap in the car on the way to my Great Uncle David's house. Daddy, Papa, Great Uncle David, Great Uncle John, Aunt Amy, Uncle Matthew, and Uncle Michael were all out there shooting guns, riding 4-wheelers, and messing with the horse.

While I napped mommy played around on the 4-wheeler. She laughed cause she was already dressed and everything for dinner so she had to throw her hair up and hope for the best.

I finally woke up and had lots of fun walking around the big yard.

I finally found a good spot to sit down. Mommy said she is going to print some of these pictures in black and white or in sepia to make them look older. I bet they will look great!

Daddy let me ride the 4-wheeler with him. It was fun but really bumpy!

I liked the idea of driving it myself much better!

Ellen Trout Zoo

I loaded up with Mommy and Mimi to go to the Ellen Trout Zoo. I guess it is the zoo mommy went to when she was little. She was so excited to take me. I got to ride the train as soon as we got there.

I had fun looking around on the train ride.

When mommy picked me up so I could see this big scary monster I got really scared and grabbed her neck.

Mimi and I got to stand up on a big train engine. It was so big.

I had to get my picture taken on this lion....mommy, Aunt Amy, Uncle Matthew, and Uncle Michael get their picture taken there every time they go!

We found Papa's brick on the walk way. That was hard work!

I saw some big, big birds walking around and I made sure to tell them "No! No!"

The whole zoo was decorated for Christmas still. It was so neat!

Mimi and I held hands as we walked all around.

We got to see some Rhinos.

I liked to look at the animals.

I had my silly walk going.

We got to see some scary animals too.

Mimi surprised me with a cute t-shirt and a little purse with a flamingo in it!

Today we got to have a hot dog roast and s'mores! It was so fun!!! I never had a s'more before.

After all of the yummy food was gone it was time to get in the car and head off to see Memaw--4 hours in the car so I took a biiggg nap. Deek made sure to lay down with me a little bit.

Deek spent most of the ride with mommy and daddy though. He put his back feet on the seat by me and his front feet on the arm rest up front. Mommy and daddy thought it was sweet that he kept putting his head on their shoulders.
