Beach, beach, and more beach!

On Friday daddy called mommy and said that we were going to leave for the beach as soon as he got home! Surprise! I had never been to a beach so I didn't know what to expect! It was very fun though. I got to get new toys, special diapers, smelly lotion, a hat, sunglasses, and a cute suit!

Saturday we only stayed at the beach for a little while because it was very windy and that made it chilly! We got to look all around the boardwalk and that was so fun! They had all sorts of stuff that I can't wait to try when I'm older!

Sunday, we got up early and checked out of the hotel. I was sad because I thought that meant that we were going home but it didn't! We went to Ripley's Aquarium and I saw some very big fish!

After the aquarium we walked around and feed some fishies!

I got a very cool shirt that says 'Pinch Your Own Darn Cheeks!' It was much hotter today so we went back to the beach to stay a little longer. We got more pictures!

Day 14

We had to wake up VERY early this morning because we had to be at the airport by 7! It was ok because we got there on time and there wasn't any line to wait on. Our plane got delayed over an hour, but I was good and played with my toys while we waited.

 I was very sad because it meant that we would miss our connecting flight and I would have to wait longer to see daddy. It was very neat to watch the planes land when we were in Charolette though!

Day 13

Today I went to see the Greisings! I had so much fun showing them how big I have gotten. They gave me a very pretty outfit and bib for St. Patrick's day! Mommy says I can wear it in about a week--I'm not sure why I have to wait but I'm excited to show it off!

After dinner I went to see my Godfather Paul. I haven't seen him since right before we moved to North Carolina. I showed him how great I do at sitting and grabbing drinks out of people's hands!

Day 12

Today I went to Grandpa Mike's house to see my cousins on that side. It was so much fun! I got to see my cousin Joshua and I got lots of presents!

My grandpa Mike got me a Panda bear that makes music! I love to push the buttons and hear the songs! He got me a fun ducky for my bath but mommy forgot to grab it! But it's ok because Grandpa said he would mail it to me!

Day 11

Tonight I went to my Great Aunt Shirl's house to see lots of family on my Grandma Joan's side of the family. It was tons of fun!



I showed everyone what a great job I do at rolling over.

Day 10

This morning I woke up and played with Ms. Sarah while we waited to pick up Aunt Sarah.

I had a ton of fun showing off how cute I look in my chair and what a big girl I am eating my breakfast.

I took a great nap all wrapped up in my special blanket from my daddy.

Aunt Sarah and I played and stretched!

I helped her fix her hair.

I was sad when I had to tell everyone bye-bye.

This is Makayla. She played with me and it was so much fun! I loved giving her hugs.

Day 9

This morning we loaded up the car to go visit my Godmother Sarah. On the way we stopped at IHOP to see Grandpa Mike and Uncle Brian. At first I was quiet and shy because I had just woken up, but then I started to smile and talk.

When we left IHOP we still had about 3 hours ahead of us to drive. I was very good and slept the whole way. Sarah met us at the driveway and was so excited to see me!

Ms. Elena came over to see me too! I haven't seen her since I was tiny tiny!!

We went to dinner too! It was so fun! There was a BIG birthday party behind me--it made me excited for my birthday!! 

 After dinner we went to IWU to listen to Aunt Sarah play the violin. It was AWESOME! I got excited to play the piano.

When we got back I snuggled with Ms. Sarah!

Then I watched some bedtime TV with Aunt Sarah!

After we watched TV Ms. Sarah, Aunt Sarah, and Ms. Hannah all read me a bedtime story while mommy proof-read my blog. 

Day 8

I had a playdate with Lex today. After that I helped mommy cook dinner and then I took Aunt Amy to softball. Mommy and I went from there to see Aunt Kelly, Grandma, and Grandpa. I had fun showing them all of my new tricks!

Day 7

Today we went to see the doctor who delivered me. She was so nice!

When we left her office we went and picked up Ms. Rachel for some coffee.

After coffee we went to see Mimi at work!

I did my tummy time while I was waiting on my aunt and uncle to get home from school and I did something SUPER cool! I tried so hard to crawl! I would peal my tushy and tummy off the ground and push my legs as hard as I could. I couldn't get my arms to work with me though. Pretty soon I'll get it!
