Big girl food isn't sooo bad

Today was another great day for me and my giraffe! I played with him while mommy studied and daddy cleaned. It was great!!

At lunch time I tried my big girl food again cause mommy said that I had to try it again cause I can't have breastmilk anymore. Uh! But it was ok cause I liked it a little better this time. I finished my whole bowl of rice! Mommy said that since I did so good we get to watch Despicable Me tonight after dinner--I like watching all of the colors on the tv.

Friday Favorites

Yesterday was AWESOME! I got to play with both of my favorites: my giraffe and my Derek! I was so happy when mommy and daddy let me play with my giraffe Friday morning when I woke up--but it just kept getting better cause they never took him away!! I got to keep him for the WHOLE DAY! I feel asleep on my way to mommy and daddy's church group last night, but I never let go of my bestest friend (speaking of--I miss Lex!).

I was sad when I first got to the house because my daddy wasn't there yet--he had to work until 9!! (but then he came over and I gave him a BIG smile!) I got to play with Brianna, JoJo, and Chloe for a few minutes and then Annabell told me "hi" too! Angie was there too so I got to play with her for a while when they were having a lesson. After the lesson was over I was very very happy because I got to play with Derek.

 He always smells so good. I hung out with him so mommy could eat and talk with her friends. I had fun with Derek, but was happy to see daddy!
It was so much fun when we left cause I got to ride in the car with daddy all by myself!!!! Just me and my daddy!

My Day at the Mall

Today I went to the mall with mommy. I was very excited to see my friends--big and small. My little friends: Chloe and Annabell were there and my big friends: Mrs. Gina, Mrs. Jenn, Mrs. Ashley, Ms. Angela, and Ms. Angie. Ms. Angie is going to babysit me next weekend so I got to play with her the longest today.

We got there early and I loved watching the people, bright colors, and of course the fans!

I was very happy when we went to the Children's Place. They have a really pretty sweater that mommy and I have been waiting for to go on sale. Today they had it marked down to $4! We bought it in my size now and one size up so I can wear it later too! I also got another pretty sweater and a pair of jeans. We were very happy that they had them on sale and that we had a gift card to use there. This is a picture of my new jeans and one of my sweaters.

Last night when mommy was making daddy's dinner----(drum roll please)----I held my bottle for a LONG time!!! I kept taking it out of my mouth, smiling, and then putting it back in. Mommy was able to get one picture and a few seconds of video (more than she did the first time I did it!)

Today I really got to eat breakfast with mommy and daddy! Usually I just play in my highchair at the table but not today! When we were getting ready to eat mommy realized that we didn't have any baby spoons---oh no! So daddy worked on the pancakes, I played, and mommy went to walmart to get a spoon!

I thought I would like to eat big girl food but IT WAS GROSS!! I didn't like it at all. I kept spitting it out all over my table and bib.

My 4 Month Check-up

Today I went to the doctor for a check-up and my shots. I weighed 15 lbs and 4 oz (72%) and I was 24.2 in (37%). On my evaluation I scored **perfect**!!! The doctor told mommy she was impressed with me and that I can try stage 1 foods now! YAY! I can't wait!

I screamed really loud when I got my 2nd shot but then I calmed down and was all smiles before we left the room.

My Week with Mommy!

This week is the first week that Joe is working his 1400-2100 shift at the tax center....so Ave and I have plenty of time for mommy daughter bonding. When it gets time for bed though, we start to miss daddy!
On Monday, I spent the morning with daddy while mommy went for her massage and after she got home we rushed off to a class that mommy signed up for with Fort Bragg Families. It was fun!! I got to "play" with big kids and 2 babies my age.
On Tuesday, I go to the doctor. That wont be fun at all!
Wednesday, mom and I are going to just stay home and play.
On Thursday, we are going to go window shopping at the mall with my friends from mommy and daddy's church group. I am very excited!
Friday I get to play with my friends again because that's when we go to the church group. I can't wait!

Mmhhh

Last night Avery learned that she can get a huge smile from mommy and daddy if she sticks out her tongue! And the day before that she figured out how to giggle! Now mommy and daddy just have to figure out how to get her to do it once they break out the camera. (Believe it or not Ave is camera shy!) These are a few pictures from this morning. Avery & Church

Today was Avery's 3rd time going to Church aka mommy & daddy's 3rd time leaving her alone for 2 hours! It was still really hard but it is getting a little easier. We realized half way through worship that we left all of the bottles at home on the counter!! Oh no! Joe had to leave Church and run to Target to get bottles. When he got back to the service he told me that Avery was doing great in the nursery and was all smiles!! That makes mommy feel so much better! Avery was looking so cute for church today--as you can tell!
