Picnic at the Park

Today mommy and I went to meet daddy at a park for lunch. It was so much fun!

Three Steppin, Three Steppin, Three Steppin

Last night was my friend Chloe's birthday party. It was so much fun! I will put up pictures from it when daddy brings the camera home tonight.

Everyone was so impressed with me because I was standing next to the couch mommy was on and on my very own I took three steps toward the wall without holding onto anything! WOW! Of course that meant that daddy wanted to keep working me and I got as far as two more steps a couple of different times but I think for now I will stick to crawling--it is much faster!

Mommy and I went to pick up my friend Chloe so I could play with her all day. I was so excited. We watched Tangled together and had a snack before nap time.

Then when I woke up from my nap it was raining. I like to watch the rain.

Busy Wednesday

This morning mommy and daddy woke me up very, very early so we could go to the hospital for daddy's eyes. I stayed awake almost the whole time we were there. I started to doze off in my stroller when we got sent upstairs--it was about time! I fell asleep at 8:30 only 4 hours after I got woken up. It was a GREAT sleep.

This afternoon after lunch I had my very first Oreo. It was so yummy! I made a pretty picture on mommy's table with my hands after I finished eating them.

Today I also took two more steps--I took them one at a time but I did it without mommy and daddy pushing to me to do it! I'm getting so close!

Cleaning with Mommy

Today mommy let me play in her room when she was vaccuming. I was more interested in mommy's toy than mine! She finally let me play with it a little bit.

Monday Mornings

This morning I helped mommy check her work before she turned it in for her class. When I was done she let me talk to my baby friend again. I was a little tired so I didn't talk a whole bunch.

As you may remember I have a friend who lives in my mirrors. Well, today my mommy let me skype with my friend. This is our conversation from this morning.

VW Dealership

This morning mommy and I went to the VW dealership for mommy's car. It was so much fun because we got to look at lots of cars while we were there. After a while I was hot so I went back inside to play with the toys.

Daddy's Eyes p2

This morning we woke up early again! Daddy had a follow up appointment at the hopsital for his eyes. I got a little fussy when we were waiting but mommy said if I was good that we would go get breakfast when we were done. That straighten me right up!

Daddy's appointment wasn't very long at all so we were able to make it to McDonalds for a quick breakfast. I love going there because of the fun stuff on their walls. Today I ate a pancake. YUMMY!

Then I tried some of mommy and daddy's coffee.

Daddy's Eyes & Mommy's School

We all woke up very early this morning because daddy had to go get surgery on his eyes. It was a very long wait but I was very good and smiled at everyone we saw.

I started to get a little sleepy right before daddy went in to have his eyes fixed. Mommy begged me not to sleep while we were at the hospital because today was also mommy's first day of school. She wanted me to sleep when we got home so that she could do her homework. I tried really hard to stay awake.

Waiting in Line

Today we had a long wait at mommy's school. We had to go buy her books and the line was TWO hours long! I had fun though. Everyone talked to me and smiled at me and tried to play with me.

Out for a stroll

Tonight daddy was late getting home from work so mommy and I went to watch for him in the driveway. Mommy thought that might make me happy and I'd stop asking for him--it worked! I brought out my new walking toy and practiced.

I kept walking and I told mommy my new word!

After dinner and playtime daddy took me upstairs to get me ready for bed. Mommy joined us and I tried walking back and forth between them....that mostly means that I stand there and then throw myself at whoever I'm suppose to go to. BUT THEN SOMETHING MAGIC HAPPENED! I took my first step! Mommy had me walk to daddy and I took a full step by myself! A little later daddy had me walk to mommy and I again took a full step by myself! YAY!! I don't know yet if I want to keep walking by myself but it was fun!

Kisses all around!

This morning we got up and at it because we had to go to mommy's school to get her ID and parking permit. The campus is actually really big and it is very pretty....I wanted to look around but it was over 100 degrees so mommy said we had to go.

Later I showed mommy that as long as she makes a silly kissy face I will kiss her back! My friend Tyce kissed me in the nursery one day and then I figured out how to do it too. Mommy and daddy are always asking me for a kiss so they were really surprised when I leaned in and matched up my lips!

Today mommy brought out the camera for snack time. She was very excited for me to show everyone how great I do at saying "hi".

And she got some good pictures of my teeth! I now have 6! Isn't that great?
