First Egg Hunt of the Year

Don't I look cute in my romper? Today is the first time I have ever wore it because I was saving it for the egg hunt. Notice I put my hand in my pockets--I did that all by myself.

I am getting so big! I wanted to show the Easter bunny my new Easter basket.

We stopped at the library again today to see if they had daddy's book in yet. They didn't but I still got to look at the fish!!

They are so neat!

When we left the library it was time to go to the Battalion Easter Egg Hunt.

I had my face painted like a bunny rabbit.

I saw a bunch of big kids on the jumpy castle and wanted to jump too. Daddy helped me jump on the step but he didn't let me go inside. The big kids were doing lots of flips inside and daddy didn't want me to get hurt.

When it was time for my age group to Easter Egg hunt mommy got to go with me.

It was good that she went cause I wasn't sure what to do when we were inside!

When we were done at the egg hunt we went home and took naps. Then I helped daddy mow the yard. I know how to do it. I even showed mommy when I was on by myself--first I push a knob thingy at the bottom by my feet, then I steer, then I pull the big lever. Pretty soon I will mow all by myself!

After we finished working in the yard we went to the festival. I got to take my car to ride in.

I tried to be at the petting zoo but I didn't like when the animals came near me.

Day on Post

Daddy surprised me at lunch time today. I was so excited to see him that he didn't even have to hold on to me--I held on so tight!

After we left daddy back at his work mommy and I went to the library on post.

After the library mommy let me play on the playground. It is a really nice one and they just finished it less than a year ago.

After the playground we stopped off at the Community Day the Red Cross was having on post. I got to have my very first SnowCone.

Then I played with the bowling balls and pins.

Sleepy and Sweepy

At breakfast time I noticed that mommy had lots of milk and a little cereal left in her bowl--I decided I should help her finish it off.

At nap time I got out of bed and got some books. I read so much that I read myself to sleep!

After naptime mommy let me have juice AND popcorn. That's not a combination I usually get. Mommy likes me to have something healthy at each meal. Guess I was just super good today.

I noticed that mommy had the broom out and had been sweeping when I was sleeping. I thought I would show her how nice she was for letting me have popcorn by sweeping up a few places that she missed.

Chalk Time

When I got home from Bekah's I decided that I wanted to draw on the drive way for a little bit. I like drawing out there because it is like a giant piece of paper.

Ranch Hand

Off to Bekah's I go.

When I got home from Bekah's it was time to take care of the chicken. I'm not scared of her anymore.

After a while I went around the yard to gather up all the purple flowers I could find to feed to the chicken.

Then I took a break and sat in my super cool Notre Dame lawn chair.

Then I needed to mow the yard.

And unlatch the chicken's hutch so she could go in when she was tired.

Then I figured out that I could climb on the chicken's ladder. Guess daddy built it super strong!

I can even pull myself all the way up!

Then I helped mommy put the Easter Bunny up in the front yard--I gave him a good talking--wanted to make sure he would remember his manners.

Then it was time for another break. Ah!

Today we went to pick up a mommy chicken. I wasn't too sure of her when I got in the car.

I stayed as far away as I could until we got home.

Then I helped carry tools out to help daddy build the coupe for the mommy chicken.

After that I was worn out. Who would have thought building a coupe would be so tiring?

I was still worn out when it was bed time. So worn out that I didn't even wake up when I fell out of my bed!
