Baby in the Mirror

Tonight after my bathy I got to visit with my friend in the mirror. She is just adorable! I leaned in and gave her a night night kiss!!

Bathy Time

I was having so much fun in the tub tonight! I was standing up, splashing, and squealing!

Close Up!

Today when I played in my room mommy brought the video camera. I think it is funny when the camera gets really, really, really close!

When I fall down I know how to get back up!

Working Out--I am the Stair Master!

I have been working really hard at pulling myself up on things. Mommy takes me out of my playroom sometimes when I do this because I fall and bonk my head in there and since I don't have it all padded yet it really hurts! When I am out where mommy is she can keep an eye on me so I don't fall so hard!



POOL TIME!

Mommy's friend let us borrow a little pool for me. It is so much fun! The pool is just my size so I get the whole thing to myself!!

First Fair Visit

Today mommy and daddy surprised me! We got to go to the Fort Bragg Fair! I got to ride on a few rides and so did mommy and daddy! They were funny when they were on the grown up rides. They yelled a whole bunch! We just laughed when I got to ride on my rides. I would have ridden on more rides but a really bad storm came in and we had to rush to the car. That was ok because I decided that I was very tired!

Daddy took me to see a seal show! It was so neat! The seals did all sorts of tricks! 

 This is the big storm that came in! It was very scary!



Chloe's Chair

Today while daddy was at work and mommy was at the doctor, I went to stay with my friend Chloe. Her mommy took a picture of me in this super cool chair that she has and now I want one! Don't I look cute in it?

When I got home I told mommy and daddy I wanted one. So they helped me make a wish list of all the things I want at Walmart. I was so excited to pick out big girl toys!

Mother's Day

This is the Mother's Day breakfast that daddy and I made for mommy. Doesn't it look nice?

Peek-a-Boo I See You

Today, I was in the bathroom with mommy while she got ready for the day. I thought it would be fun to play hide-n-seek and not tell her we were playing. She was really worried when she couldn't find me (especially since the doors were all closed!). She had no idea where I went! Boy was she surprised when she found me!

Mother's Day Presents

Daddy and I went to get mommy's presents today. She gets a whole day where we have to be extra nice and tell her how pretty she is! This is me helping daddy carry all the presents around the store.

I saw a really pretty one over there and was telling daddy he should get it!

What I learned from Daddy

Daddy has made this face at me ever since I started recognizing people.

Today he did it so much that I did it back!

Bathy-Time

My daddy and I have so much fun when he give me a bath! Mommy doesn't splash with me but daddy does! The more he splashes, the more I splash!

Driving, Waiting Rooms, and Play Rooms

This morning mommy had to go on post to the lab for some tests. I begged and begged and finally she gave in and let me drive!

I drove so fast that my headband flew off!

I was so good while we waiting in the waiting room! We were there for an hour and I never talked above my inside voice and I played nicely with my toy.

When we came home I got to play in my new toy room. You might remember that a while back I had a hard time deciding where to put my toys that I get to keep downstairs.

Well mommy is letting me have her sitting room since she doesn't have furtniture for it yet. Daddy and mommy even bought me this very soft and very pretty foam mat for the floor! It is so that when I take a spill I don't hurt my head. Right now I only have a tiny bit down and still have 84 square feet to bonk my head on. Daddy and mommy said that it will take some time before they have all the foam for that room cause "it doesn't grow on trees" (I have no idea what that means or who in the world told them that foam grows on trees! Silly parents!)

Crawling and Scooting

Mommy and daddy say that I only have a few more days before I am crawling all over the place. Today I crawled a little bit but when the camera came out I would only do my half crawl and half scoot across the floor. Man-o-man can I go though! Today I crawled across my play room so fast! WOW!

For this video you might want to turn down your volume a tiny bit...I was very excited to be recorded and I was talking and screaming a lot!



Post Donut

When we got back to the hotel this morning after donuts, mommy made me brush my teeth. I'm not sure why she did that since we usually do that at bedtime....oh well! She said something about not letting my teeth rot out...whatever that means! After my teeth were all brushed I asked if I could tell my friend about my donuts. She was very excited for me! Today was a big day for her too!! Turns out she got to eat donuts just like me!

I was so happy that we both got to try donuts! It is so cool! She always does exactly what I do! WOW!

When I was done talking to my friend it was time for me to lay down and have a bottle.

Bill's Donuts

This morning when I woke up mommy made me put on my clothes right away and started talking about being a big girl and minding my manners (please, thank you, etc). I was very confused about what in the world she was talking about......but then.....my papaw showed up (he's mommy's grandpa) and my great uncle Stewart! Turns out I was getting to go out for donuts!

I really liked the donuts! I love when I get to try a new food and it is even better if it is something that I can hold and try to do myself!

I made a big ole mess when I ate my donut! No worries though! Mommy said I was only allowed to have a cake donut because it doesn't have icing--so the mess wasn't sticky!

Because I made such a big mess Uncle Stewart and Aunt Amy put me on the tailgate and made me stay back there for the whole ride! Just kidding! I had to go back there to get dusted off! 

My carseat was a mess too!
