Take me out to the ball game.....buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks

Today after church we went to Toys R Us so we could finish creating my birthday wish list. While we were there we got a phone call from my friend Chloe's mom--they had 2 extra tickets to a minor league game and wanted us to go with them! I was so excited because I have never been to a baseball game before. We hurried home so we could get changed and get to their house on time.

The visiting team had a flat tire and were delayed getting there so we just walked around the stadium for a while. Mommy and Daddy showed me lots of cool stuff and told me about the baseball diamond.

Our team is called the Swamp Dogs and our mascots are Fun-Go and Sweetie (at least I think that's her name). I LOVED them and they loved me too. Chloe was scared of them but I thought they were very cool. They kept coming by and giving me high-fives, playing peek-a-boo with their ears, and Fun-Go kept fixing my mohawk. He thought it was very cool .

I had lots of fun at the game. Chloe was picked to sweep off home plate at the top of the 4th and mommy and daddy said that maybe one day I will get to do that too!! YAY!!

Friday Fun!!!

This morning daddy and I got up early so we could get to work--daddy mowing the yard and me playing in my toy room. It was so fun to get up early with daddy on a Friday morning-that only happens on Holidays and when he is lucky enough to get a 3 or 4 day weekend! Mommy was very excited that she got to sleep in an extra hour today.

I have so much fun watching daddy mow the yard! Every time he mows the front yard my windows have to be open so that I can see him and hear when he is coming by the window. Mommy and daddy said when I walk better I'll be able to go out there and help him mow the yard! How neat is that?!

After daddy mowed we got ready for the day and went to the library! It was so much fun because daddy hadn't gotten to go with us before today.

After I picked out my books we went outside but just for a few minutes because it was a very hot 103!

I wanted to look at one of my books before we left.....just to make sure I grabbed the right one.

Mommy and daddy moved me to the shade because they said it was too hot to read in the sun.

When we got home we cooled off for a while. Then mommy and I went outside and played on my new toy!

I had fun pushing it around the yard.

Mommy kept trying to get pictures of me standing up but every time she pulled out the camera I decided to sit down!

Aren't I so cute when I sit on my knees like a big girl?!

10 Months Today!

I turn 10 months old today! That means that in 2 months I will be 1 whole year old! WOW! To celebrate and to get out of the heat we went to Angie's pool again. It was great!

Daddy is HOME!

Today daddy came home!! I missed him soooo much!!! Mommy and I loaded up in the car early this morning and we drove to division. Mommy drove me all over the parking lot before she finally parked and said, "yay! daddy!" I looked all over but didn't see him...then mommy put down my window. I saw daddy!!! I started to kick my feet, smile, laugh, and reach for him!!

We had to wait a long time until he was all done and we could take him home. Daddy told mommy to go get me some chicken from BK so that I wouldn't miss my lunch. It was so much fun! I got to eat fast food AND sit up front while we waited in the parking lot.

When I was all done eating I didn't want to drink out of my bottle at all so mommy had to give me my big girl cup to drink from. I am getting really good at drinking from it.

When we got home daddy let mommy lay down for a little bit and we played a long time--it was GREAT!

My First Big Girl Cup

Today after my snack mommy made me change my clothes cause I had cookie all over my little green outfit. As soon as I was done changing my clothes we went to walmart and bought me some big girl cups! See what a good job I did drinking out of it? Mommy says I seem to do best at not spilling when it has a little more in it...when it gets close to the bottom I turn it up too much.

Walk, Walk, Walk

This morning mommy let me play in the living room instead of just the toy room. I was only interested in 1 thing---walking!!!

I did such a good job that mommy says she is going to have to look at getting me a toy that is meant for me to use like that. This one goes a little fast and gets away from me but one that is suppose to be used like that wont.

The punishment didnt fit the crime...shh! Don't tell mommy!

After snack time I went to play in my toy room.....I was being so good then BAM! I knocked over one of my baby gates. It scared mommy really bad and she was upset with me for knocking it over.

After she put it back up I tried to knock it over again so she made me go play in my bouncy seat for a while. I LOVE my bouncy seat!

Also, mommy weighed me today and I was 19.5lbs on her scale and I am almost 27 inches!!

My 1st homemade cookie!!

Today I got to eat one of the cookies that I made yesterday. At first I wasn't sure what I was suppose to do with it.

I couldn't fit the whole thing in my mouth.

But I figured out that I can gum on it.

Then I discovered I could actually bite it!

It is delicious!

So silly! I tricked mommy into thinking I was going to share my cookie and then gobble gobble gobble! I ate it myself!

It was so good that I ate it all up!

Haha mommy told me a funny joke! She said I couldn't have another one until after dinner.

Oh, she was serious. :(

On a totally different note---mommy counted the pictures and videos she has on her computer of me: 2,422! That's not counting the 961 on her phone, the ones on daddy's phone, or the ones that Mimi & Papa have, Aunt Amy has, Uncle Brian & Aunt Katie, Grandpa Mike, Grandma Joan & Grandpa Bob, and Aunt Kelly.....or the ones that mommy and daddy's friends have on their phones!! WOW! 

There are so many pictures and videos of me!!! The ones alone on mommy's computer equals 8.07 pictures taken of me everyday I have been alive! That's .37 pictures taken of me every hour! WOW!

Celebrate! Celebrate! Do what ya gotta do!

When I was playing in my toy room mommy came over to the gate and asked me if I wanted to help her make a special batch of cookies. As soon as she said the word "bake" I took off crawling towards her. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to bake with mommy!

When we got to the kitchen mommy had already made the dough but I got to help her roll them in sugar and then I got to lick the beaters.....guess which part was my favorite!

I make sure to take my time and get every single piece of dough off!

I licked the beaters for so long that my cookies were done at the same time I was! Don't they look good?!

When I was all done mommy tried to wipe me off at the sink but decided that it was pointless! What I needed more than a rag was a bath. She was worried that if she carried me upstairs I would make a mess all over the walls so instead I got to go into mommy's tub!! Mommy said that the walls were far enough away that I wouldn't be able to touch them in there.

It was so fun! She even put in some bubbles so I could have a bubble bath!!

Since we were downstairs I had to use one of mommy and daddy's towels. It was ok because it covered me up head to toe with lots left over!! Better to have some left over than not enough!!
