Picnic and the Lab

Mommy was getting ready for the day and had blocked off the living room & stairs and made it so that I could only play in my toy room or mommy & daddy's room....but I showed her how sneaky I am! She can not keep me trapped! I snuck out, moved the stuff that was blocking the living room and looked at magazines--TWICE! muahhahaah

For lunch we had a picnic at the park. It was so much fun! I love picnics!!

 

Daddy was so silly! We kept talking and making each other laugh.

When we got to the lab I sat in my seat in the waiting room like a good little girl.

Mommy and Daddy tried to get a picture of me after it was all over but I was NOT smiling for the camera this time!

1 Year Check-up

Today I went to the doctor for my 1 year check-up. Since we had to go on post when everyone was getting off work mommy let me bring an extra toy to play with in the car. Our car ride was very fun. There was a bus next to us for a long time and I kept waving at all the kids. After the kids went away I went back to playing with my doggy and giving him big hugs!

When we got to the doctor's office we had to wait for daddy. Finally he got off work and headed right over just in time for my appointment. I found out that I weigh 20.8 pounds and I am 28.5 inches tall! That means 41% for my weight and 25% for my heights--mommy says I will probably be a shorty cause that's what she is and I'm ok with that.

Mommy and I talked on the phone to Mimi while we waited down by immunizations. I wasn't to excited to get my shots but I usually don't cry until the very end and even then I don't cry very much.

I had to get 4 shot and they were the worst ever! Daddy held my hands so I couldn't grab the needle and the nurse held my legs so she could see my thighs. After shot number 2 I was crying so hard that I stopped breathing and the nurse made daddy blow in my face so I would breathe again. Finally I took  a deep breath and went back to screaming but the nurse that was ok. She just couldn't give me the rest of my shots until I breathed.

Mommy says I have to go back tomorrow but she wont tell me why. I hope it isn't anything bad!

Smorgasbord at Church

Tonight is the Church Smorgasbord. Mommy says that means that there is a bunch of different food for dinner. That sounds yummy to me! This is the outfit I am going to wear.

My Birthday Party #3

Today we had my friends from church over to celebrate my birthday. I had so much fun!

I got my very own little cake with a pretty princess on the top. Everyone else ate ice cream cake, but that was too cold for me!

When everybody sang "happy birthday" daddy helped me say funny stuff and mommy laughed a bunch!

I was excited to dig in the giftbags and see what neat toys I got. I got lots of cool toys, books, and cute clothes!

Helping Daddy Mow

Daddy went outside today to mow the backyard since it was finally dry enough outside. I took my mower outside to help him! It was fun!!

Since I am trying so hard to walk now I crawl funny. Mommy and daddy think I am so cute when I do this cause my butt is up in the air!

See? I don't put my knees on the ground. I don't always crawl like this but I am doing it more and more.

My Princess Chair and Mommy's Cabinet

Today I got to eat my snack in my new princess chair. I loved it! It is my very own seat and so pretty!

Then a little bit later I went to see what mommy was doing in the kitchen. She was moving stuff around and switching cabinets. I was ok with that because that meant that I have plastic kitchen dishes to play with-just like mommy did at her Memaw's house.

Mommy and I played so much that we took a little nap...well...mommy did and I jumped up as soon as daddy came home!

My REAL 1st Birthday

Yummy! Getting ready to have my special birthday breakfast. It was a crossiant with marshmallow fluff, chocolate pieces, strawberries, and whipped cream on top--and it was all toasted...well toasted before the whipped cream!

It was kind of messy to eat.

Mommy and daddy put all my toys together and set them up while I was napping.

My yummy, yummy cake. It had sprinkles inside the cake and on the outside!

Myrtle Beach pt 3

Today is our last day at the beach and I am kind of sad about that. We were hoping to have time to go to Huntington Beach (they have alligators and sand sharks that swim on your feet!). Mommy and daddy's class ran a little longer than they thought it would so we didn't get to go there...but we went to Ripley's Aquarium instead. That was lots of fun.

Mommy and I danced while we waited for daddy to finish looking at the sharks. ...they were scary!

I liked watching the sting rays swim up to the glass. They were funny.

Daddy took me to the top where you can pet them but I was too scared to get close.

I got to pet a horseshoe crab. It was very cool. The guy said I couldn't hurt them and I could touch all I wanted....but then I started to grab his tail and pull on his legs...the guy wasn't too happy about that. Oh well! I still got to pet one!

I got to crawl under a giant shelf and then poke my head into an oyster.

After the aquarium we went to eat at cheeseburger in paradise. I really liked their french fries.

Myrtle Beach pt 2

This morning daddy and I stopped to look out at the beach before breakfast. It was pretty!

While I was in the daycare mommy and daddy's class gave them a break for some alone time.

  

Daddy said we should make this a tradition since we have done it so far every 6 months.

I tried so hard to dig my way out of the giant hole I was in...it was hard!

Daddy kept throwing me in the air and I laughed and laughed.

We got to ride on a ferris wheel. It was the first one I have ever been on.

It was so cool to look at the window when we were up high.
