I like to pet the little chicks.

After the baby chicks went down for a nap I helped daddy change his oil. I had an important job--hand daddy the tools he needs.

When the chicks woke up from their nap I decided that I would let them play in the backyard. They followed me around the yard.

They are so sweet.

After a while we went inside to set up my new big girl bed.

I was so excited!

I was also very tired! I had a very busy day and needed to take a good nap!

I slept long and hard!

Dr Visit and Ice Cream

I went to the doctor today for my 18 month check-up. I weigh 21lbs and a couple ounces putting me at 15% . I am exactly 30" tall now--too tall for the normal measuring machine and I had to use the big person stand up one! I was at 18% for height. Basically I am a tiny little thing but I am still way ahead of the developmental growth curve! Such a smarty pants!

Since I had to get shots today I got to have an ice cream sandwich when I got home.

It was yummy!

18 Months Today!

I am 18 months old today! That means I am 1.5 years!!! WOW!

I went to Bekah's today since mommy had school. I played with my sunglasses and was silly.

Bekah let me be upside down! It was so much fun.

Doctor & FRG Meeting

Mommy had a baby appointment today--I was hoping we would find out what the baby was today but we still have to wait a little while.

While we were in the waiting room I played with the kid books and coloring books.

At the FRG meeting they had a photobooth with fun things to play with. I wanted to be in a picture frame.

Mommy wore funny glasses and I tried on some funny lips but decided I didn't like them.

I got to visit daddy at work today. I love when I do that.

When we walk in busy parking lots daddy says he has to carry me since that's the safest thing for me.

When we got home I colored lots of pictures while I put off nap time.

When I was done I wanted to talk to the baby. I can't wait until I can hold the baby for real!

Cheering Section

Today we played kickball after church. It was lots of fun to watch. I sat in the bleachers and cheered while mommy and daddy played.

Little Country Girl

Today I got to ride on the lawn mower with daddy. It was so much fun! I helped mow the WHOLE thing!

Afterwards I walked around the very back of the yard (behind the fence) just to see what I could see.

All I'm missing are my boots and a hat!

Happy Girl

I was a very happy girl when I woke up this morning.

I drove my car around and danced up and down when mommy played music.

After a while I went outside and played with bubba.

Sliding Time

When daddy got home from work I showed him that I know how to unlock his phone! WOW!

I love to color!

I know how to hold my crayons the right way.

Mommy puts my pictures on the fridge when I'm done with them so I thought I would help her show them off.

First I guess I need to get some of these magnets.

Maybe it'll stay now?

I think maybe I'll write some notes on the notecards like mommy does for school.

Monday

Off to Bekah's house.

Mommy was taking a long time getting my diaper bag out.

Hiking and Softball

This morning it was a little chilly so I bundled up and got ready to go for a hike with mommy, daddy, and bubba in the woods behind the house.

I had a lot of fun looking at all the different stuff. Sometimes I would get hot so I would take off my jacket but when I got cold I'd put it back on.

After our hike it was time for church. By this point it was getting really warm out so I just needed a little sweater. This is me waiting on everyone to get ready for the softball game after church.

I walked all over the park watching and cheering daddy's team on.
